Use these instructions if you would like to secure a node using crypto stored in your MetaMask wallet.

Prerequisites

1. Using the XPerks Club Program Guide, ensure that you have:

   1. joined the XPerks Club using the How To Opt Into The XPerks Club guide.

   2. vested the correct amount of L1X Coins to the appropriate Tier (Silver, Gold, or Platinum) as detailed in the XPerks Club Program guide.

2. Ensure you are familiar with the Node Hosting on L1X and Node Architecture & Consensus Mechanism guides especially the responsibilities around hosting the node.

3. Ensure you are familiar with the Node Reward Calculator to identify the possible returns of running a node.

4. Ensure that you are connected to the latest version of the XWallet and that the correct sub-wallet has been selected.

Step 1. Select Your Node type and Number of Nodes

Step 2. Click on 'Connect Wallet'

Step 3. Select MetaMask

Step 4. Select preferred network and assets from the list

Step 5. Confirm you have access to the address entered/displayed in the Node Ownership Address

Step 6. Complete the transaction using MetaMask

• Confirm the details presented are correct and click on the 'Submit' button.

Confirm your Node NFT has been unlocked

• After a Successful purchase, the Node details will appear in the Node Portfolio section linked to the XWallet address connected.

Congratulations! You have now opted into the XPerks Club and unlocked an L1X Node.
